The Alma Floor Light doesn’t take up lots of space but sure holds its own. It’s a striking silhouette when off but the magic really starts when you turn it on. The bone china shade possesses an almost ethereal, translucent quality with its 41 hand-made holes glowing like little stars. The brass disc behind the bulb reflects the light beautifully, and the light’s angle-able arms have been left un-lacquered to allow each piece to age in its one unique way with use. The painted metal base of the light is slightly raised off the ground by 4 adjustable brass balls, which lends an air of lightness and ensures the light can be adjusted to sit sturdily on any floor. A versatile and handy design for a living space, which works particularly well between two seats such as an armchair and a sofa. The Coral colourway is a pop of colour; the dot above the ‘i’ in an interiors scheme. Look at Seaweed for a more masculine and moody feel.
