Direktörs Lampa
The Direktörs Lampa was created for ultimate versatility with many thoughtful details. Its slender stem and elegant proportions allow it to sit neatly on a side table or desk, with its reassuringly heavy base lined in a billiard green felt to protect surfaces.
An articulated joint beneath the lamp holder coupled with a directional shade holder allows the lamp’s director to move the shade at wonderfully jaunty angles. This provides practicality to arrange lighting for tasks, reading or mood setting and an element of playfulness to style the light in different ways.
We developed our Fine Hemp Terracotta and Shell fabrics for the Direktörs Lampa shade, with the ambition to cast the most flattering shade of warm light possible. When illuminated the shade’s atmospheric fiery glow of terracotta sits beautifully in contrast to the soft yet brightening powder pink lining. Its dark teal colour is powder coated for a resilient finish and the Lampa’s simple on/off switch has a custom-made brass collar adding beauty to its simple function. Made in England.
