Our Paper Bag Gong pendant comes in our clean Sheer Milk LinenĀ matched with a bespoke, oversized forest green ceiling rose.Ā The shadeĀ has a humble eleganceĀ andĀ is finished with a whipĀ stitch to give the hem a little structure.Ā The structured shade beneath covered with a fabric skirt atop is much like a crinoline for a petticoat.Ā This pendantĀ works particularly well over a table and in a hallway.
The Paper Bag collection is inspired by the relaxed, soft shades first created to cover and diffuse the harsh light of early versions of the Edison bulb, as popularised by the Wiener WerkstƤtte movement of the early 20th century.
