Our Sherry Dining Chairs (set of 6) were made for our de Gournay residency and are ex-display. These chairs will be sold as one lot. We have used ourĀ Parchment Cardboard fabric for upholstery finished with a grosgrain ribbon fastened with domed studs. The frame is hand painted in Crayfish Party from our paint collection, The Dependables. All sales final.Ā
The Sherry Dining Chair is an homage to our favourite Gustavian predecessor - it was excellent in 1770 - it is excellent now. Following the human form it is both comfortable and sophisticated and an expression of how Swedes interpreted rococo within their means and sober tastes. Our version is made entirely in England using tulip wood which is lightweight, stable and most suitable for all of Sherry's hand carved elements.
Materials
Solid tulip wood frame with hand carved details, jute webbing and rubberised horsehair.Ā Traditionally made and upholstered in England.Ā

Collection
The Sherry Dining Chairs (set of 6) must be collected from the de Gournay showroom in New York. Please see de Gournay collection instructions below:
- Collections to happen between 10am and 5pm.
- NYC showroom must be informed of planned pick-ups at least 1 day in advance (emailĀ nathan@degournay.comĀ or call 212 564 9750).
- Clients will be responsible for all moving and packaging of the pieces.
- There is no loading dock at the de Gournay showroom, so movers will need to walk around 50-100+ feet around the corner outside the shop from the 2ndĀ ave entrance to get their trucks on 59th street.

The Shoppa team will be in touch with the successful bidder to confirm collection.Ā
